This first image is of my aunt talking with my sister about some of our family history and explaining who people are and identifying them in the photos she's showing. There's a bible that had been passed down over the years, that has my 3rd great grandfather St. Clair Graves information in it along with his biracial children's dates of birth etc.. Its a bit confusing because in the 1800's a lot of the time, bi-racial children did not or were not able to legally take the same last names of their white parent for reasons based on the history of our country etc.. the bible would have belonged to the grandfather of the woman in the center of the family photo (my great great Grandmother) . Digging and finding so much information when I go home. It's all interesting and fun to explain. The last image is a family tree that goes from my grandfather Aaron Alexander Garnett and farther back.
