This is a map and ancestry timeline that traces my dna back to my ancestors. Pretty cool stuff. I did this back in December 2013 and they continue to make really interesting updates on the site. I am working on gathering photographs now of my parents, grandparents, great grandparents, and great-great grandparents. I was wondering if I should include recent photographs of my parents or photographs of them when they were younger or both? I have recent photographs of my dads sister, in mid conversation explaining to my sister who someone is, in an old photo she is holding. Love to hear some input on what you guys think.
I just typed up so much stuff and my internet browser refreshed. ugh!
ReplyDeleteI have wanted to do the Ancestry DNA test forever and my Mom got one for me for Christmas this year!! I'm just waiting for my results to come back!
As for your project, it didn't come to me until now but your project could be on your family researching their ancestors. Like the conversation you mentioned in this post, that would easily fit a project that is all about the research process. They have had TV shows on the subject, I'm sure it would be a great photo series.
