Kieran Rundle Week Update

Website Update:

I changed the order of the headings and took out the three photo series. The picture backgrounds are still there because I'm brainstorming what to replace them with and how to make a miscellaneous category not look unprofessional.

I love the idea about the PDF pages scrolling.

When reading your email I realized I never posted questions or research responses.

My three main questions about websites:

- What platforms do people normally use other than wix/squarespace/wordpress/weebly?

- How in depth do artists do with coding or do most artists go with coding or do they pay for most of their website add ons?

- Why do artists not post more series on their website? I often try to find things on them and look for more that I want to see.

Photo Series Update:

I feel so close. These are my top 6 but I want to do one more photoshoot in each medium.

  1. Hi Kieran, the only other platforms I know of are through adobe and godaddy. Adobe portfolio is included with creative cloud so then you arent paying for a website elsewhere AND adobe but I feel it does lack a lot of intuitive. I agree I like to see more about artists on websites. The reason there is less is so viewers arent overwhelmed and oversaturated. But I feel having too little can leave them uninterested and wanting more.
