Christina Crespo-Doug Eng

Doug Eng

Eng makes pictures using natural elements as well as natural lighting. He uses reflection to create an illusion in a lot of his photo. This is done with the use of the water directly imitating the landscape in the picture. He uses negative space with the pattern of tree lines to create an interesting shape in the sky. His pictures are all in color and are mostly taken of trees over a body of water. I really enjoy Eng's work because I have made similar pictures. His work interests me because I feel like these images are the kind of work that is discouraged in school but something that I have always really enjoyed.
