Rachel Trautmann: Weekly Update
Whoa! Washington D.C. was an experience. I did a decent amount of research before I left. I wanted to make sure I had time to cover all the protests I wanted to cover. I also didn't want to get lost on the metro!!! Well, only 30 minutes into walking around D.C. I was confronted by the Anti-Capitalist March that just happened to be the only violent protest all day (the broken windows and things were them). While I was photographing them, I unknowingly got trapped by cop cars and cops with pepper spray guns...so I have now experienced pepper spray. Not fun. The Women's March the following day was the complete opposite feel overall.

Omg wow! DC looked like it was definitely full of excitement. There were so many people. I really think that the 3rd image is very interesting and the 6th. I would really like to see more photos of from the march.
