I feel like we had a great discussion about websites this past week and I enjoyed see how much everyones projects had progressed!
As I mentioned in our meet up I am using Adobe Portfolio. It comes with the creative cloud subscription so technically free and so far seems easy to set up. I did purchase a domain because I am hoping it will motivate me to keep up with it more after getting it going. The purpose of my site is to serve as a portfolio. I am not planning on selling or marketing anything on it yet, but will have a contact page just in case someone is really interested in a piece. So far I am keeping with the simple, clean layout to get everything up and going, but I will probably tweak things as I go. This week I am planning of culling through some work and getting it up and brainstorming on what I want my BIO and CVV to include.
I kinda wish I already had the website ready because at the symposium on Saturday I was asked by a few people if I had one and/or a card. I am now adding a card to the short list of things to get done. :)
