This semester I want to continue photographing for my series from last semester. Within the Confines of the Solitary Mind is a series I created for Photo Seminar 1 that captured scenes portraying loneliness, isolation, and depression. My purpose for creating this body of work was due to my own experiences with feeling alone and isolated from the world around me.
Furthermore, I am interested in expanding on the series more by creating and adding new photographs. My plan so far is to take some more photos at home and outside of the home finding things or places that represents the theme.
Do you think this is worse due to the pandemic or have you alway felt this way? How will you change this from last semester. Think about useing the elements of photography such as slow shutter speed and blur, shallow depth of field. Looking through a window. It might be nice to think of one photograph or scene and repeat the syle with changes rather than trying a whole bunch of different things.
