While reading Crusade for Your Art Best Practices For Fine Art Photographers by Jennifer Schwartz, I learned that when photographers start out they often fall into three categories such as nature, people, and landscapes. To be honest I used to always think that these were honestly the only things people could photograph. Although throughout my time in photo seminar 1 and now starting photo seminar 2 I began to understand the connection on what other things people can photograph.
I also found the advice from Paula very helpful, it honestly reminded me of Bob Ross, and how we as artists can make happy mistakes.
I found the three stages relatable. I think that since we are still "young" in discovering ourselves as photographs we are constantly bouncing through these as we approach each project.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't help but giggle at the Bob Ross reference you made...hey sometimes those happy mistakes are great.
