For my project this semester I would like to build upon the work I created last semester with the starter kits. Last semester my project mainly focused on figures from greek mythology with a few from christianity and ancient Egypt. For this project what I would like to do differently is to create set ups for the photos, where it looks more like product photography. And experiment with lighting a little more. I would also like the boxes to contain contents more catered to the individual I'm focusing on. For example if I did Poseidon , the god of water, I could put his items in a fish bowl instead of a box.
Also if possible I would like to focus on other mythologies and folklore because Greek mythology is so common. Focusing back on the product photography, I was thinking of maybe creating like a type of add spread for the photos. That way I could include different types of angles of the subject and I think it would be cool presentation wise.
Hey Akira, I like the approach you are thinking with this with changing up the layout of the composition. The boxes were great, but I get where they did confine and limit you to a certain angle. Curious to see who you research and create in the images.
ReplyDeleteThis has a lot of potential. Why dont you pick something and put one together to see how it looks? YOu can continue to refine your content but it might give you insight if you try putting one together.
