Hey guys! It is hard to believe its week 4 already! This past week I did have a short conversation about my project with Greta and got some pointers that I have been brainstorming on. One was how to push the images to reflect what I was trying to say. For instance, the sliced bread I showed a couple of weeks ago. The invention was about convenience and that ties it to being bought in a store. So, I decided to reshoot it in the plastic. I used a deli wrap from another loaf so that I could avoid an advertisement feel to the image.
I did do some other food, including a burger and fries, and frozen waffles. Each item does get a few different set ups, to see what works and what doesn’t. Which I’ll show more when we meet. I need to work on some editing as my lights gave me some difficulty this week, but figured for fun I would also include a behind the scenes look at my set up.
That photo is excellent, I love how the plastic captures some of the lighting but doesn't get too reflective of the light. I also really enjoy seeing the behind-the-scenes of these photos!
