In chapter four, the author talks about portfolio reviews and what to expect when participating in them. Some things that the artist should consider beforehand is the quality of the paper, the image size, the presentation and the pitch. Another part of the process that is discussed are the leave behinds which are "marketing materials to leave with each reviewer at the end of the session" (p. 97). Another topic that is mentioned quite a bit is crowdfunding which is raising small amounts of money in large crowds of people.
This part was informative, but the saying "it takes money to make money" kept coming to mind. It makes sense though, you want to put your best presentation out there. Glad she mentioned ways to get funding through grants and crowdfunding.
